Week in and week out, Food Banks across the world are helping those in need. The arrival of the Coronavirus has brought a new season of need for many, and the Connex Foundation IMPACT Committee has organized a Food Bank Challenge to provide additional support to make an IMPACT to those in need.
Throughout June the Connex Foundation has partnered with Feeding America and Daily Bread Food Bank Canada. We are challenging companies and individuals to give back and make an IMPACT to their local communities by supporting local food banks.
Connex members have been split into 6 U.S. regions/teams and a Canadian region/team. Each region has a goal to provide 50,000 meals.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
You can support your local community by donating food, money, or time! See how you can contribute below!
DONATE FOOD
Each region is working to provide 50,000 meals in total!
Nonperishable food items can be dropped off at a local food bank.
BE SURE TO WEIGH YOUR FOOD BEFORE DROP OFF!
Once you have dropped off your food visit the link below to record your contributions to your region/team.
Most Requested Items:
peanut butter
canned chicken breast or tuna
canned low sodium vegetables
canned fruit in its own juice (no sugar added!)
dry pinto beans
brown rice
non-fat dry milk powder
100% whole grain cereal
Please be sure to give:
healthy, non-perishable food
items with intact, un-opened, consumer or commercial packaging
items with non-breakable packaging (no glass please)
food within the expiration date on the packaging

DONATE TIME
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Connex Foundation IMPACT events. Typically, food banks have weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities—perfect for individuals and groups—helping prepare food donations for distribution and distributing food at mobile food pantries. Connect with your local food bank to see how you can volunteer!
