Arlington, TX
Main Event: Build-a-Bike Event
Connex Foundation volunteers built 100 bikes in less than 2 hours—for kids who need them most!
This fast-paced, high-impact team-building experience featured ConnexFM members coming together to assemble 100 brand-new 20” bikes, complete with helmets and locks, for deserving children in the Arlington, Texas area.
This wasn’t just about teamwork, it was about giving back. All completed bikes were distributed through carefully vetted charities, making everyone’s work a real, measurable difference.
Additional Event: Wheels of Impact
At the Connex Foundation, we believe in building stronger communities through fun, purpose-driven events. Alongside the 2026 Build-a-Bike Event, FIVE AMAZING TEAMS made up of ConnexFM members, ConnexFM staff, and the Connex Foundation — all pedalled on stationary Bikes for a powerful cause!
Here’s how everyone made an impact:
Every donation supported the Connex Foundation’s mission, with each mile ridden funding Impact Projects that uplift and empower our communities.

Kyle’s Place: Journey to Dream
Kyle’s Place is named in honor of Kyle Milliman, a strong teen leader who cared greatly for others and often was the first to reach out to those struggling.
Kyle was a prominent leader in the Hebron High School “Journey to a Dream group”, now known as the “Dream Initiative.” Kyle encouraged and motivated his peers to abstain from substance abuse and embrace salvation through Christ. Kyle was always one of the first to make his way to comfort impacted students in the audience with his own personal “hug” ministry.
During his senior year at Hebron High School, Kyle struggled with depression and a football injury that sidelined his dream of playing in college. In 2012, Kyle tragically committed suicide. We honor his memory and remind ourselves of the life-saving importance of our mission by naming our residential campus program in his honor.
